Brian Redman of influential 90s straight edge hardcore outfit Trial and most recently of metal revivalists 3 Inches of Blood has passed away at 31. According to a report from local media:

The Pierce County Medical Examiner confirmed that Redman died early Sunday morning. Based on details provided by Detective Brad Graham of the Tacoma Police Department, Redman was thrown from his scooter after apparently striking a curb on the 2400 block of N. 21st Street, in Tacoma.

His bandmates in Trial posted this note:

I'll never forget Brian Redman, hard to forget a guy that was a walking party. No matter who came in contact with Brian, they were instantly attracted to him. He was one of the most sincere, sarcastic, witty, intelligent, talented guys that you would meet. Even if he was having a bad day, he put on a happy face to raise the spirits of those around him. He was a good...no, he was a great friend to all those that he cared for and cared for him.

Our deepest condolences to his friends and family.

This is not a global economy...

hell nah! wait... yes it is. OK! yes we are talking about a global stage, like a multinational forum (like motorcycle messageboards).

So wait... we can pounce third world militarized nations with the propaghanda of forked tongued liars and quickness and strenth of american working class men?

america's working class is the most intelligent, most innovative people on this planet. why are we slaving to these people who have our interests at the bottom of their list?

this was america.
this will be america.

What is socialism?

what is nationalism?

Does that make you a nazi?

FUCK real fascists!!! straight up shock value is one thing, being a straight nazi is preee fucking wack. FUCK THAT!

fuck these propaghandists.

Is this how we want the world seeing us (the greatest nation on earth)?

or do we want ourselves being repped appropriately.

POISON THE WELL robbed in DETROIT

Florida's Poison The Well is the latest act to suffer from gear theft. The band was robbed when only two days into their ongoing tour with Billy Talent. The group commented:

So this morning we woke up at our delightful Marriot Courtyard hotel (priceline, get into it) and walked outside to get in the van to head to Chicago for our second show of the tour. Only problem, it isn't there. Either someone is pulling some Merlin shit on us and just waiting for the perfect moment to unveil it and calm our shot nerves, or a talented scumbag stole our van and trailer with literally everything we own inside. Needless to say, we're crushed. Our most beloved instruments are gone, and trust me, we're gear nerds.

After a great deal of scrambling and deliberation, we found a way to stay on tour, after a few days off to get some gear and a rental van together. Having something like this happen is the worst thing that can happen to any band short of someone dying, and we're incredibly stoked to finish this tour with Billy Talent and play every night doing what we love...

A benefit shirt is on sale to raise some funds for the group. The band is currently in support of their latest record The Tropic Rot.

why go back 40 years with style?

i'd rather go back about 90 years because there are too many people on this fucking earth. i am an advocate for the "swine flu" (if there is such a thing).

rather than go back to how it was, how about we innovate? but, at the same time "throwdown" and learn from the mistakes of the past.

this is how i remember shows back in the day. horrible clothes, ignorance, kids getting their bricks beaten off. it's funny to think of when hardcore was actually scary, ya know, not knowing if you were gonna make it outta there not bleeding. i can't even sit through a show nowadays... i tried to sit through a show at riot room. granted it was one of my peoples bands but i'm not trying to be seen to to be scene, fuck that bullshit. next show i'm gonna be at is one i will be playing. forget paying money to support someone else's PBR tab when i got two mouths to feed right here.
